How do I create a waterfall?

If you make the water vertical (Up-down), on a wall...The water should automatically go in a downward direction therefore acting like a waterfall

but the problem is it doesn't look like a waterfall xD the waterfall must have particles at the collision point (on the ground) this particles must have animation of course,


i am not a particles artist and i can't do it (i think ) but i just telling, cause there must be anyone who can work on particles.

I used a few particles with appropriate color at the base of the waterfalls in Cavern2
The particle menu makes it easy to experiment for the best look
adding a waterfall sound effect helps with the illusion too
