i read the FAQ's and looked all over the place for videos.. but i still dont know how to make roofs. when i try to select an area and scroll up using one of the 3 slope buttons, nothing happens. i can only scroll down. and it dosnt even work so well scrolling down... i tried using Q, F, and the mouse wheel button. can someone tell me with more detail then the FAQs how to make a roof, or if you know where there is a video of someone making one tell me the link? thanks

first of all, make sure that you are in edit mode.

Making roofs works for me with q, I just make ramps, I'll send you some screenshots of how to make them in less than 5 mins I hope

Begin by stacking up your roof like this -->

Next click and drag from end to end like this -->

Hold Q and scroll while hovering over both bottom corners of the cube "you can do this on any cube within your selected cube line"

i wasnt stacking my roof like that, i had it flat and tried to drag upwards. i knew there was a simple trick to it... lol, i dont feel so smart now
