Im trying to make a server to go online with my friends. When I click the default server.bat file, the command prompt window opens, but another window opens saying "could not create server host". Then the command prompt closes.

Help!!

the reason for this message is because something is using the same port as the server.
what you need to find out is if this is the server or something else.
of course, if it's the server, just connect to it

What are you talking about?

say you run a server. it's going to bind itself to a specified port, say you run it again, it'll try to bind itself to that same port and fail.
in other words the server might already be running.

Well i had the same problem with the servers before but i have fixed it (Do not ask how)
I might be able to help first make sure no one is on internet on the same modem this can be problem if you have 2 or 3 people on it confuses the computer what you on
Second make sure you have a decent internet speed if it is to slow the server will be Lageey as heck (Believe me this can get annoying)
third set up the server if it says anything try to change port (Put your cable in a other port if you have a other port)
Lastly i hope you got it running if not you can ask me for more help
