You can use my web page if you think it may help. I am building a Virtual Village of the island of Crete I am hoping it will be finished the end of January 2010.
I have built this page to keep my visitors up to date on it's progress.

The Address of the page has now changed to this http://www.eloundainfo.com/main/downloa ... ounda.html

Thanks Stefos! Would it be possible to get the original file of the video? That way I can post it on moddb as a download as well. Though I'd also need to know the license information for the music. As a note I would of course post info about your site and I would be happy to mention a bit about Elounda especially if there is any specific information you'd like me to add. Thanks so much! Take care.

Hi Mike

The movie was made using stills of the map I am producing and the program I used was MicroSoft Photo Story the music the user creates within this program...the program is free.

The video is 10.6 mb in size and it is 640 x 480 and is wmv format.....how do I send it to you ..cant attach to post

Just mention my website http://www.eloundainfo.com and take any info you think would be of interest from the EloundaInfo site.

Thanks for that hoping to get the first map finished for the end of January then a further 2 maps after. Building a virtual village off a real village is proving difficult and time consuming. The Sandbox program is fantastic piece of 3d creation kit....but my computer is having difficulties at the moment and needs more memory so I can complete the 1st map which will be the biggest.

However I think when it is finished it will show that the Sandbox can be used for more serious applications like virtual environments of real places.

Keep up the good work Platinum Arts and thanks for making my life a lot easier than it would be without this kit.

http://www.sendspace.com/ is a good place to upload files. Your other video is quite nice too, especially how you just walk into a building and it is detailed out. I can only imagine how awesome it will be when you start to add characters :D And maybe even sounds to make the bar sound crowded and such. I'm really happy to hear you are enjoying Sandbox so much. Oh yeah with your map, are you aware of the remip command? (Save first) but then try /remip and you should see some nice improvements to your FPS. Also if you haven't already make sure you update your device drivers. You could also turn the shaders off through the launcher.

Also we have a youtube section on here and you are more than welcome to post your Sandbox videos in there. I can't wait to see more and learn more as I have always been very interested in Crete. Take care and have an awesome night!
