Platinum Arts Sandbox - Free 3D Game Maker Forum

Hello my name is Michael, I had no idea what PAS was until I saw Vickie playing with it one night and I asked. Seems to be a pretty solid engine and will be really handy for the gaming club I sponsor at the college I work for. So far I have learned quite a bit about the engine from Vickie but I have a lot left to learn and I hate drilling her for information every time she sits down with me. Anyway what I plan to do is use your engine in the gaming club and make a shooter out of it. I have other members of the club that will be joining me here also so I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself to everyone. I look forward to getting to know all of you.

Anyway, Cyrix: if you want to make a first person shooter, PAS was built upon Cube 2 which is an actual first person shooter game, which also has map & script editing tools (although lacks some nice features). You might want to look into that. We will continue to help you of course, I just thought it might make it a little easier on you.
