Re: Blender to Sandbox: step by step
Hey Y'all havn't been that active recently, have been busy.
Glad some people here found this useful.
@ Creatorcookie
No mdlscale does not have to be at 2000.
It can be any size/scale/number you want.
@Cankinder
Any ideas for a 'harder' tutorial?
I'm open to suggestions.
Take care.

Re: Blender to Sandbox: step by step
Okay, I talked to Offtools about this on his cell-shaded tutorial, but can you make an animation tutorial?
I'm specifically looking towards animated md3s, like the ogre, because I've been thinking about making a character.

Re: Blender to Sandbox: step by step
If by addons you mean the python scripts (.py files), where they go all depends on what operating system you're using.
First make sure you have python installed http://www.python.org/download/releases/2.6.5/
Also make sure blender finds your python installation. It will say so in the console window that opens with blender.
Make sure you can see hidden files/folders
Paths for your OS;
XP:
C:\Program Files\Blender Foundation\Blender/.blender/scripts
or
C:\Documents and Settings\Username\Application Data\\Blender Foundation\Blender\.blender\scripts
Vista:
C:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming\Blender Foundation\Blender\.blender\scripts
Windows 7:
Same as Vista (i think)
Ubuntu/Linux variants:
/home/user/.blender/scripts

Re: Blender to Sandbox: step by step

EDIT:I put the files in the folder and the program won't export in md3 yet

@pizza
What version of blender are you using? On my computer (also 64 bit) blender 2.5 wont understand that i have python installed... So I use 2.49b instead and it works fine
