1.Select a square you would like your creature to be located in
2.Open the Main Menu (Esc)
3.Choose “Editing GUI”
4.Switch to the “Ents” tab
5.Choose “New creature Entity” from the list
6.Press the period key
7.Backspace until you get to the second number (it should be a zero)
8.Replace this number accordingly to the chart below
0 - Butterfly
1 - Dragon
2 – Golem (Rock Monster)
3 - Bear
4 - Rat
5 - Snake
6 – Wolf

9.Press Enter
10.Switch to player mode and try it out (all creatures will start chasing you if you get near them)

They don't actually attack you do they? I.e. do damage?

Creatures don't hurt you. They can be killed in lava and respawn, though.

Also:
Add pictures.
Use F3, not period/backspace.

Add these to the wiki.

Could you attach a trigger to them? (long shot), so that as soon as they come near enough they do damage?

I can think on SO many useful things that could do if it was possible

I don't know completely about scripts, but there is a monster_dead or something tag, I think.

Actually, RPG mode would be the place to look for enemy wolves as well as scripting triggers and death sequences to them. FPS mode would just be a run around monster

I'd like to see a cutscene where a guy dies, then gets eaten by wolves (in Sandbox).
