The other "seamless maker" method is to reduce, copy, paste and flip. Its another option in Paint.NET, but I don't like because when you "flip", you flip the lighting direction for that side as well. It looks terrible rendered in a 3D environment. If you need to change the scale if a texture tile, you can do it in the .cfg ...
