Welcome to the Hotel Mysteria.
Once the prime (and only) location for weary travelers for miles, the Hotel Mysteria has been abandoned for years due to a brutal and well-publicized murder that the police never solved. As is common with many such sites, ghostly tales have sprung up, deterring visitors and would-be tourists. Until recently, the stone hotel remained a landmark of a forgotten era.
Now, an unnatural process is taking place. Parts of the hotel, stone and all, have decayed, vanishing into nothingness. The now very unstable building has prompted engineers to send a surveyor to assess the damage and determine the next move.
The Hotel Mysteria awaits its first guest in 200 years...
This map began as a tribute to the Disneyland/Disney World attraction "The Tower of Terror," which I visited prior to designing the map. I built a full model of the hotel, and decided that it wasn't interesting enough. I began to take apart the map, piece by piece.
There is an elevator shaft situated to the ... er... west of the hotel (assuming the entrance is facing south) that one can "jump" up by using the small platforms lining the shaft. (Since this map was built with the RPG, an elevator was not possible.)
One can pass through solid doors that are "unlocked." Certain hotel rooms (hint, look at the front desk where the keys are kept) are "unlocked" (you can pass through them) and others are not. If you are too impatient, you can look under the door: a lit room means it is "unlocked."
I hope users enjoy exploring this map.

I pray it is packaged right.....
"Doesn't look very safe, does it?"
