Platinum Arts Sandbox - Free 3D Game Maker Forum

Hi guys! As you probably guessed by now, this is jSoftApps and this is my sandbox contest submission.

You can download it from http://www.jsoftapps.com/files/Contest.zip

Unzip the file with 7-zip (http://www.7-zip.org) or any other compression program you like.

Make sure to read README.txt when it finishes extracting.

A little update, this map has been re-packaged with hirato's packaging standards.
Also, there is a code to start the map in SP mode in case you forget to.
Please give feedback, I want to know what I need to work on.

The Packaging:
Pros:
- Nicely Packaged.
- Nice little readme.

Cons:
-----

The Map:
Pros:
- Nicely utilized assets.
- Nicely lit.
- Nice use of Rats.
- Reasonably scary.

Cons:
- No Mapshot.
- Incorrect proportions to my standards. I tend to use 3 cubes from a Gridsize of 3 for the height of a doorway, and 2 for the width. Comes out nicely in my opinion.

One of the better maps I've seen. Good work JsoftApps!

Anybody else got feedback (I know more than leo downloaded it, my server tells me how many people did. Come on, give me feedback)

UPDATE!!! Fixed all of the things that leo told me to fix, added ground outside the castle that includes a forest, a graveyard and a pumpkin patch. Please vote for me!

PROS:
- big map
- quest

CONS:
- too foggy(!)
- too loud
- the pumpkin quest isn't an own idea
- could be scarier
- no custom content, but file is over 2 mB
- monster don't hurt you

The fog was meant to give it a more "Halloween" feel to it. It was meant to be very foggy.
I know that the monsters don't hurt you, that is sauerbraten only.
The pumpkin quest isn't my idea (I know) but I liked it so much that I just had to put it in my map.
