Yeah I think those would work good. I'm also thinking about the damage screen as well.
But about the icons. They seem rather small (I don't know for sure, haven't dl'd them). I'm concerned about resolution if they are too small and need to be enlarged. They might end up a bit more pixelated than we'd like. But I'm sure that thought has crossed your mind

I did actually already make a damage screen that I kinda like though I haven't tested it beyond shooting rockets at the ground point blank. For the icons there already is a default one in the /hud folder for you to take a look at to give you an idea of the image sizes, they aren't that large. Take care.

@Arc: if you actually looked at the image on the site, you can download it as an .svg, which is a vector file. Vector files can be resized as needed without quality loss. You can use Inkscape to open them, then export them at a size you want. Here they are, resized by me. Look good?
@Mike: I like the co-op idea, but I may have cross country practice then, so I don't know if I could make it, would it be possible to record the video and post it somewhere so I can see what you guys did?

HEY, count me in on the project.....Really, all I do is mapping, so if u want mike, I can just make some red/blue team maps, with opposing bases. as far as a multiplayer match, btw, please post a vid, as I can't make it then

@stealthpanda: don't forget, you could possibly do single player bot matches as well. Also, for mapping in general, Quadropolis and the cube 2 wiki can't tell anyone enough about proper map flow and stuff, so I'd check around and grab a few tips on mapping for fps games.
EDIT: I've been trying to work on some models, but I found some characters on Blendswap that I think kind of reflect what we're going for. http://www.blendswap.com/blends/charact ... er-pack-1/. While we don't necessarily need to use those, I feel that they have the right kind of atmosphere for characters.
