It's the texture that's being used. In order to fix it, you just have to change the texture on the side of the mountain.

It's because the student didn't select the bottom of the 'pit' and then select the top. To do this, have the student click on the bottom of the 'pit' and then right-click at the top (probably just a selection next to the top of the 'pit') and then fill it with water. It will then fill your whole selection.

Also, I'd recommend paying attention to Mike. He's the boss around here, haha.

Sorry Mike, I hadn't had a chance to check the answers until I walked into class, and then the kids were asking a million questions a minute! I love it that they are so excited about this though!

We are a K-12 school in Nebraska. I use it in my Advanced Computers class which currently is offered to 9-12 graders. However, next year we may require a basic computer class for freshman, and offer the advanced class to 10-12 graders as an elective. That's what I hope anyway! I heard about Sandbox from a professor at a college nearby.
