Everyone,

I bookmarked this page a while back:

http://e2-productions.com/repository/mo ... downloads/

Would any of these models be usefull to the Sandbox?

I know lots of them are have high poly count, and this would not be good. Is there a way to load a model like this, and then reduce the polycount with a script in blender?

Or would lots of manual restructuring be need to make them useful in Sandbox?

It'd be nice if we could take advantage of them.

Also perhaps some of our creations could be added to this 'free model repository'. (Share the wealth)

Food for thought ;)

Enjoy!

I found a few more blender model repositories:

Be sure to check the licensing for a model before you use it.

http://www.katorlegaz.com/3d_models/
Most of these models are under this license: http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/us/

http://www.blendermodels.org/
Some of these models seem to be under this licence: http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/2.5/

but not all of them are...

Enjoy!
