Platinum Arts Sandbox - Free 3D Game Maker Forum

So I found this artist (DJ actually) thanks to Chocolate's color calculator.

His site is 8-bit music that's really fun to listen to. (Now before everyone yells "Spammer" I wanna disclaim this by saying that I want to discuss a mini game series for Sandbox kinda like Mario and including that music )

Little quests and things like that would be the main gist of it Some scarier parts of the quests would have certain songs from Greim etc. etc.
I would want everyone to work on it. Basically like a big community project for Sandbox Whenever they have time, put in a map or two, or some code etc. If everyone contributed it would be an easy project!

Mini-Games:
True to it's name, MG will provide levels upon levels of challenges that will entertain casual gamers and the hardcore player. Game-play consists of:
A level-by-level gameplot
Fun level ups
Fun powerups
Inventory system
and much more!

Do you mean mini games like find x amount of hidden items and are you thinking side scroller?

Mini as in not that much put into it... but enough to make it worthwhile

NOT SSP as I don't have any knowledge in it and I doubt many others do either... it would be third-person RPG mode

Lava rooms, save the princess levels, find the golden chest, pick up as many golden coins as you can before the time runs out... etc. Just a bunch of fun games that makes Sandbox not only something to create games with, but to play also

If everyone worked, it wouldn't be too hard with everyone's combined knowledge

I might turn my WIP house into a mini game.

Hmmm... kinda like a puzzle game?

I haven't decided yet. Since it's steam punk orientated i might make something like find ten iron bolts to fix the steam machine.

wow you certainly have inspired me. Shame I don't have any time to produce anything right now though...

Great idea arc but i remove that link for now because it is class as advertising unless you going to put some of that music in the mini games i think it should not be there.
