Yea but zbrush is damn expensive for most people.
I'm taking modelling requests again - any models you want created,skinned or animated (or all 3) leave a post here:

i would love to know how you make charaters and how to skin them, would you mind telling me how to do this.?

You could use blender to skin and animate, and for the models you can use blender too, or google sketchup, or wings3d

Thanks for the link. This is very useful!
Does making skins for character work the same at the moment? I would be interesting in doing it, although I might not be the most talented person, but I want to give it a try ;) I just need to be sure that it works again with blender for skins and animate.
