Does this sound like a good idea? He's the reason all of this is possible... If you don't know who he is, see here:

If you remember, PAS is based off of Cube2, which he made/helped to make. Maybe we could get some major help from him.

Mike, anything? Sound good? (Speaking of you, have you ever contacted him?)
I think his email (or one of them, at least) is aardappel@gmail.com or something similar... That's what I found at "contact" on his wiki.

no, it is a terrible idea.

He hasn't done anything for any cube 2 derived games (including sauerbraten) in years.
Even if he was contacted, I doubt he'd contribute at all.

wait, really? He wouldn't know stuff like adding playermodels or monsters to the lists, or something?

He created it, but others have continued it... Hence the reason we have all the spawn offs of Cube 2...
