How to make the tracker more noticeable though?

We could try putting a link to it on the Sandbox home page, but that's only going so far.

Maybe change the name of the link? I can always edit the language file entry to Bug/Feature Tracker.. :geek:

I have a feature request..
a way to determine if you're inside a building/cave/etc as opposed to outside
maybe by periodic shooting a ray out of the top of the player's head to see if it hits a ceiling or the sky?
or can this sort of thing be done already with other methods already in place.....

this could work like a trigger to change sounds or lower outside noise volumes?

Like a material like lava or water that's invisible but sets a variable to show that the player is inside.

the idea of using a 'material' to check for indoor-ness would lead to a cube having multiple materials ( for seeing if the playing is in a cave underwater )
but that might be a cool idea too if anyone ever wants to use AI_clip underwater to guide fishies, for example
