How to Make NPC's interact with you?

Ok, so i probably sound like i don't know anything, but its true. I was wondering how to make, like the knight character, fight you or at least talk to you. how could I do that?

That depends on what mode you're using, as FPS mode and RPG mode have different scripting languages. Look around here and the wiki for tutorials on whichever one you need.

here's a tutorial I made a while back about basic FPS scripting, it might help you. Now that I think about it, I should probably go through and clean that up...

yeah you should, because I cant get them to work at all. There are also things like the slider is gone...
