ok so i"ve seen other people do it in tutorials, but how do you change shape????

Change the shape of what? Models? Terrain? Crosshair? Need some more info on what you are trying to change please

if you mean making circles and rounded shapes, use the scroll wheel or q+scroll wheel to create angles.
