Should i use unity or gamemaker for 2d sandbox

The title says it all should i use unity for a 2d sandbox or gamemaker because i was told once that gamemaker may not be good for large 2d worlds or worlds in general and im starting to get that feeling. ovo.fyi/1337x ovo.fyi/kissasian ovo.fyi/mangastream


Also its hard to find ds_grid chunking because my worlds run using them because objects did not do so well.
