Foreign Dimension

Welcome to Foreign Dimension. It is a surreal world that questions reality. The layout is symmetrical in all 4 directions. Tunnels inside the main building lead you to a pool of water. What lies beneath is for you to find out. ;)

PS: Made using textures I made myself. For use in the main game.

MIKE EDIT:
Here are screenshots of his map, taken from this topic: viewtopic.php?f=10&t=17
Just part of a map I made. It's called Foriegn Dimension.

This is a great start to a map! I think you created a really cool atmosphere as I said in the other forum. I can't wait to see it further along and/or other levels going with it. I hope you don't mind that I edited the screenshots into your post :) Take care.

No problem. And I just may make a full level out of this. Although, at the moment the setup doesn't really allow for much gameplay depth. But I can never seem to choose a decent map size that isn't too big.

You can also use /mapenlarge in the console to double your map size :D So it would make a size 11 map into a size 12 since each map size is double. Take care.

it's actually octuple , don't forget it's 3 dimensions, not 1 (doubles it each way, 2*2*2 = 8) :P

But if I double the map size and there's already stuff on there, would it appear on one of the edges or in the center?

The edges, it won't overwrite what you already made. Take care.

Well I used the /mapenlarge code and it made the ground grow all around my map >.< is that supposed to happen?

Remember that the map also enlarges vertically. So yes.
