How to make it Rain

Post by RonnieNeeley »

Sorry, but I totally forgot how to make rain. I found some solutions, but none worked.

Could anyone possibly explain this to me?

Well, what have you tried so far? Rain should work with entities I thought, don't know for sure though, I've never tried myself

Use water particles. Just create a new entity, then change it to water or snow, then set the size and color. You can adjust it however you want. Hope this helped!

Yeah nevermind, Dan figured it out himself.

We were doing something with Cube2 for school that needed rain, and he didn't remember how, but then he got it.

Thanks guys.

May I ask what the school project was? I've used Sandbox for two projects for school thus far, so I'm interested in what others have used it for.

Dan and I re-constructed all 9 levels of Dante's Inferno for a Senior teaching unit we had to do. Everyone seemed to like it, the teachers especially.

Ah, very cool. I enjoyed Dante's Inferno. Would you be willing to post the levels here?
