Well right now there's not much clan activity except maybe edit a map together.

A "Clan" section would be sure to improve activity, though, that's for sure. I bet most people don't even know that there are "clans" in Sandbox.

If we decide not to add it at the moment, don't worry -- it's just that we want to try to make it easy to find where to post things, and it might confuse newer users.

Honestly, a section of the forum titled "Clans" with the subtitle "Are you in a clan or want to make one? Then check out this forum!" would be pretty easy to figure out. The boards are titled pretty easily anyways, so I think that "confusing newer users" should be one of the last things for you to worry about.
