Can we make an RPG Server?

Is it possible to make an RPG Server? Just like coop edit in FPS mode. I tried coop edit in RPG but i couldnt connect to localhost and couldnt lanconnect. It wil just stop at "attempt to connect to localhost:-1".

If possible please give some solutions. Thx a lot.
