Particle & Lights Help

Ok so I put particle like fire in my map but nothing is there it show it there but there is no fire(all particles), this also happens for my lights and almost all the stuff like particles and lights how do I fix it? Oh and also this is related to my other question on door, Ok when I put the trigger type to 10 the door just opens automaticly when I go to it and if I want someone to open it for me or have a button it needs to be locked how do I lock it?

Okay, for fixing lights, make sure you have the radius and color and everything like that at your desired effect. Then press F3 and do a Quick Light.

As for particles, make sure they actually have been calibrated. By that I mean make sure they have been modified to your need. That should work.

Sure. It's actually kinda hard to make an NPC open the door for you unless they themselves were the key.
You could either make the NPC so when you approach him/her to talk about the door, they open it automatically.
-Or-
You could also have a key that the NPC tells you about which also automatically opens the door once you pick the key up.
