Thanks
It's made made with Gimp, but I never really figured out how the gui is tiled, it seams to change when the size of the window change, so I don't know if it's a good idea to use grunge textures for the gui-background, I might just go with black-fog or karbon, and just keep the cursor.

There is an image in the distribution called patches that displays each and every segment of the GUIs as specified and used by 3dgui.
Use it as an overlay or a guide when you make your own.
This is not a url, clicking it is pointless

Thanks, I was wondering what that thing was.

I used this to make a lot of my Karbon themes. I'm also using it to make a few new ones.

Ooohh, I'm interested now. BTW, do you plan on making any RPG HUDS that match the previous Karbon GUIs? The current one (yours) matches the Karbon Storm one, so maybe you could make another set (or two) to match the rest of them...? (I use Karbon Reloaded in RPG. I would love to see a matching HUD.)

It'd be cool if you could have a script for GUI switching, that way you could use that GUI just for a journal-type thing, while using the rest for gameplay/dialogue menus.

That would also look good with R17, since the color gray fits the theme pretty well. Just another random thrown idea. :D

I have added Moonvalley to ModDB http://www.moddb.com/mods/moonvalley

It is "currently awaiting authorisation", but once it is authorized I'll upload an early alpha of chapter one.

Jus' t' let you know. Haha... Files (all but Screenshots and media) take a while to authorise on ModDB, but, it allows you to write a news update the day (or two) before you want it to be posted. Allowing a much larger hit with the numbers. :D

RPG Project - Moonvalley

Post by wildflower »

Early alpha is ready for download on ModDB :
http://www.moddb.com/mods/moonvalley/do ... ey-alpha-2

I haven't disabled edit-mode yet, the GUI needs a lot of work, and there are bound to be lots of errors and inconsistencies, but hopefully this will give an idea of what I'm working on.

Bring on the breakage ;-)
