Dimension Destroyers (In Progress) From K9Games
You, Not Knowing What Powers You Have, Are Found By "SHEDS" (Super Human Earth Defense Squad). And Taught To Use Your Power, To Protect The Human Race. Meanwhile An Alien Race Called "Tygoraueh" Attempt To Destroy The Dimension Of Which The Universe We Live In Is Existent.
Currently Completed: Tutorial Level, Menu Music
Currently In Work : Level 2 (Untitled)
Need To Do : Design Logo, Use Title Menu Script (Thanks jSoftApps), Levels 2-8, Characters (Names, Models, and Biographies.), Have Cork279 Finish The Soundtrack, Dialogue Scripting, Transfer What I Have Done to JAG (after release) To Add Weapon Support, Create "Quantum" DLC, e.t.c. (We've Got ALOT To Do Left)

I have to point out now that you're going to have to do a LOT of re-texturing if you move the game to Cube 2, due to PAS having textures Sauer doesn't have and vice-versa. Also, I don't know if Sauer uses map-art.cfg files.

I was wondering if we could re-texture the map by adding the map's textures into the Cube 2 folders like we do with Sandbox. Speaking of Sauerbraten, I need to re-install it because for some reason, it deleted the batch files and the applications and the source code. -___-

for the first part, that's very true. However, you would have to release that mod of sauerbraten as your game. If you did so, you would need to remove any unnecessary content (which takes up space), and you'd also have to watch out for license restraints.

Java, as for the creatures, i already have the scipts for the dialogue needed on the tutorial level, though i do need a level end script, using a jumppad as the end, with trigger tag being 0. if you can do this the tutorial level will be 100% complete, now its only 99.99999999999999999999999999%java.x.beast wrote:I need the details for the creatures if you want me to start scripting.

That can only be done in in FPS mode as far as I know...
Although I can code a script that will send you to another map when you interact with the jumppad. If this is what you mean, consider it done. I don't know the name of the map after the tutorial, so I'll assume it's called level1 until I'm told otherwise.

You do know that the jSoft Apps Game Engine will have weapon support by the time it is released. I suggest you use that when it comes out instead of trying to program the weapons in yourself

well that depends, how long it will be until JSAGE is released, if its not that long then i might but if its like more than 7/8 months away then i will have to say no, it's supposed to come out by Christmas 2012 but saddly I am The Only Mapper On Our Team.
also Jsoft Hirato gave me a heads up on a title menu code that you were developing, are you actually developing that, if you are, can i use it for DD, and I WILL LIST YOU IN THE CREDITS LIKE 1000 Times. That Would Help ALOT. thanks for the heads up jSoftApps.
